كواليس المدينة

لا يتفق القانون مع الفساد، ولا السطح مع الكواليس، ولا الحب مع الخيانة. ولكن التسويات دائماً ما تجد طريقها بين الضفتين بصفقات مشبوهة وطعنات غدر على حساب الضعفاء والأبرياء وغالبنا من الضحايا، لصالح الفاسدين والمفسدين والجلادين. شخصيات "كواليس المدينة" هي انعكاس هذا الواقع المؤلم والحقيقي المستمدة منه أحداث العمل التي تدور في صراع درامي بين الخير والشر خارج إطار الإطلاق النمطي، في مساحات حسّاسة وعلاقات وملفات شائكة، كثير منها لم يتم التطرق إليها في الدراما اللبنانية من قبل، فندخل كواليس السلطة والنفوذ البعيدة عن الأعين، نجردها من ستار عتمتها، لتظهر على مستويين، القناع والوجه الذي خلفه

Law and corruption cannot coexist, nor love with treason. The characters in “City of Lies” are a true reflection of an unfolding dramatic battle between good and evil, with events inspired from a bitter reality. Events that draw the lines of schemes, corruption, fraud and other aspects of a demented society. The series goes deep into the hidden rules of power and influence that control the game of gangsters and corruption.
